1st Grade!!!!

My big boy Bryant started first grade last week!  WOW!!  First Grade!!!!  Where did they past 6 years go??? 

Anywho, he did great!!!!!!  No tears at all....from any of us.  The second day of school I even got to just drop him off at the door.  He is such a big independent boy now.  He said he had fun and liked his teacher, Mrs. Dietz, so here's to a good year :)

My friend told me today that I can post pictures from my phone straight to my blog.  Well I've been trying to figure it out and haven't yet :)  But I will keep trying so have no fear, you may get more pics soon!!!! And lots of them if I can get it!

In the mean time, I'll update you with our busy lives. 

Bryant passed Kinder :) and we left for Galveston.  The boys had a BLAST!!!!!  It was so much fun to watch them having such a good time jumping in the water and playing in the sand.

We recouped a bit from vacation then started VBS.  It kept us busy an entire week but had a good time. 

We've been playing with and spending time with our friends.  We ventured out and went bowling one day....and the kids did awesome!  We even went camping over the 4th of July weekend.  We have had a wonderful and fun summer.  I can't believe how quickly it has gone!  I just hope the kids are having a good time :)

Kindergarten has come and (almost) gone!

 Bryant's first year of school is about to come to an end.  It's such a bittersweet time!!  He has grown so much this year.  He has learned so much!  I'm in awe of the wonderful, smart, big boy he has become!!

Well I recognized the boys on their individual birthdays but I never put up their birthday party.  This year we did the genius idea of combining the parties.  It was fabulous!!  They had a wonderful time as did their friends :)

Happy Birthday Casey Austin

Today is your day sweet Casey!  You came into our lives 3 years ago just a little too early.  I can't believe you are the tiny little baby who was lying in the little bed under the lights with your tiny eye covering.  Now you are a big, energetic, happy little 3 year old boy.  You fill our days with lots of laughter and entertainment.  You dazzle everyone with your long eyelashes and your outgoing personality!  Thank you for being you and for being the little ball of energy in our lives.  You bring us much joy and I am happy and blessed to call you mine!  I hope you have the best day ever!!!  I love you very very very very much :)

Happy Birthday Bryant Allen

Today is your birthday my sweet Bryant! I can't believe you are already 6 years old. I remember so clearly the day you were born. You surprised us the day you decided to join us. We were about to have a BBQ to celebrate you coming but instead we went to the hospital to bring you into the world and celebrate with you. You are a wonderful and very special boy and I love you more than you can imagine. You are my sunshine!!!!! You make me smile and I love to watch you grow and learn new things every day. I'm always amazed by what you know and how smart you are. You are a blessing to me and your daddy and you are a sweet and helpful big brother. I know your brothers love you so much!!

So today on your birthday, I want to celebrate you and the wonderful 6 years we've had together. Enjoy your special day my big boy!!!

WHAT?????

I can't believe it's been so long. February just zoomed right on by. I've been super busy working. I think February is really the month everyone decides to join the gym and get their resolution going :) Things are finally starting to slow down, well I'm actually cutting things down. I have too many things going on and working in the evenings has been a tid bit hard for us. So I'm nipping that in the bud. I like being home in the evenings with my boys!!

Other than that, not too much has been going on.

Bryant has now lost two teeth (bottom middle). He's so darn cute toothless :) I got to pull the first one, which bled a wee bit and sent Bryant into a frenzy. Once it was done and he saw it, all was well. His second tooth just fell right out of his mouth. He was not about to let me touch it! He loves it when the toothfairy visits. I've been trying to tell him to catch her for me. After Bryant starting loosing his teeth, Casey keeps saying he wants his teeth to come out. He's so silly!

Dayden is a going machine. He's a "determined" little boy. He does what he wants when he wants. We need a cow bell on that boy!! He's also talking more and more. He says Thank You so well and at all the right times. It's too cute. He also says: Nigh Nigh, Paci, Bye Bye, and a few other ones that he's been saying a while. He will also repeat many things we try to teach him so it won't be long now till he's constantly talking just like Casey :)

Casey has been a very loving boy lately. He will randomly come up and tell us he loves us and want a hug and kiss. BUT he will also often tell us he's not our friend. He's so indecisive :) He's getting so good with counting, colors, and his ABC's. He's gonna be a smart boy just like his big brother.

Tomorrow my baby (actually big boy) will turn 6!!! My oh my is all I can say!!!!

What a week!

It would be an understatment to say we had a crazy week. That would be normal around here.

Bryant came down with the flu which kept him down a good week. We're still praying he's better and can make it to school tomorrow. He's had off and on fever for a good 5 days now, BUT was fever free today. We'll keep our fingers crossed.

Friday, Dayden decided to walk around and "talk" into the tube extender from the vacuum. Well, like usual, he fell but with that in his mouth and hit it on the table. That caused a big bloody mess with a busted lip and a tooth pushed backward which led to an emergency trip to the dentist. Not a great way to have your first trip but he did great. He let them do an xray and was such a big boy when they pulled it back into place. He cried a bit but was over it quicker than I was. Now we just hope it tightens and stays in place.

So that was our week. Never a dull moment.

Oh and totally off subject, Casey has a favorite Bible story that he requests every night (and has for a month or so now). It's the story of Mary and Martha. We haven't figured out why that's his favorite but he always requests the story with the girls and will even turn the page if you try to read a different one. :)
