The Tooth Dr (AKA Dentist)

I took the boys to the dentist this past Wednesday and they did great (for the most part). It was Bryant's second trip to the dentist and Casey's very 1st. They brushed Casey's eight little toothies and rubbed around in his mouth and counted his teeth. He did great, and they said everything looked super :) Yea! Bryant had a little trouble at first because another girl in there was crying and it made him more scared. After she quit, he did great and sat in the chair, had his teeth cleaned, poked, and flossed. He even did the xrays! They said everything looked good except one of his front teeth has a vanishing root. Which means that he probably had trauma to it at some point and it will fall out a little sooner than "normal". I thought Wow wait till Casey gets xrays. They'll be telling us all his teeth have had some trauma and have a dissolving root. That boy falls all the time!

Overall, my boys did a super job and I couldn't have been more proud. They even brought home a toothcase filled with teeth cleaning goodies :)

Dr. Appointments

Last week we had a couple of fun ole dr. appointments. I had my 28 week appt on Thursday. Everything went well. Baby is measuring a little over a week ahead (as did the other boys). He already weighs 2lbs 14oz and is 15.2in long. That seems pretty big to still have about 11 weeks or so still to grow. Maybe he'll come early like his brothers. We got a cute little profile picture of him and some cute foot and hand pics. I also had my glucose test and passed with flying colors. Then I got the yucky Rhogam shot!! I hate that thing!!! But all in all it was a good appt and I'm happy things are looking great. I must say that this has actually been my best pregnancy (feeling wise) for me even during this hot summer.

Casey then had his 15 month appt on Friday. He had to get a yucky shot too, but he did great. Bryant stood in the hall (he doesn't want to see them hurt his little brother) and Casey only cried for a minute and was done by the time we got out there with Bryant. Big brother was even proud of him. The dr said he was doing great and looked great too. He's right on track with his awesome skills :) He now weighs a big 23lbs (25-50%) and is 30 1/4 in (25-50%).

Both the boys are getting big and are as silly as can be. They love to play together but aggravate one another just as much. They definitely like to keep me on my toes. Gotta love those boys of mine...but what, oh what will we do when we have 3!!!!!!

4th of July fun

We had a GREAT 4th of July! Ashley came over and brought a Slip N Slide. The kids had tons of fun playing outside and enjoying "summertime fun"! We even got snow cones and had sparkler fun. We topped off the day by watching two firework shows from our driveway. What a way to celebrate our independence!
