Party All the Time!!

Always a fun time at the Sands' house.

Casey was hiding his little snorting toy pig under the blanket and having a ball!

Grandma and Grandpa Sands came for a visit and everyone had a good time :)

Tummy Time

The Sands boys love their SANDbox :O)

Dayden's first time in the jumper. He kinda liked it.

A great circle of friends playdate. The boys loved their new shirts they made with their friends.

4 months

Dayden turned 4 months old the other day and had his check up last week. He is now a whopping 15lbs 1.5oz and 26in. He is pretty much average on weight and a wee bit longer than average. He's a wonderful baby!!!! He's so darn happy and smiles and "talks" and laughs all the time. He's really one of "those" babies who cries pretty much only when he is hungry, poopy, or really tired. He loves to watch his brothers and they love to play with him too. They sure are cute to watch! We are truly blessed!!!!!

Talk, Talk, Talk

That seems to be what's going on around here all the time now.

Bryant is talking a lot. A lot of the time it's talking back but he's talking a lot nonetheless. I must throw in that he does talk VERY sweet, caring, and loving to his brothers quite a bit. He's still the best big brother! We don't know what we'd do without him.

Dayden has started "talking" so much. He just loves to hear himself (and I love to hear him too). It's the sweetest sound. He also loves when you sing or act silly to make him laugh. He lets out a big belly laugh. He's such a happy little boy (and quite the ladies' man :)!

Casey, oh Casey.....he's silly boy. He just started saying SO much the past few weeks. He'll say things now that you tell him to say. Bryant loves to try to teach him new words. He says eat, meeelk (milk), nanny (banana), bopple (apple), and LOOK a lot. Those are his favorite words. He's such a funny boy.

It's never quiet around here unless you visit us around midnight. It's sometimes not even quiet then :) We're just a loud, busy household. If it's not screaming, it's "mom, moooommmmm, momma, mommy, mmmmmoooooooommmmmm"! You know that call :) But we do have lots of laughter and we love it!!!

Merry Christmas!!!!

What?? You say Christmas is over?? I know, I know I'm a little behind BUT better late than never is my new motto for the year :)

Well, Santa was VERY good to all of us this year (even though someone wasn't too fond of him). Probably better than he should have been. I guess he didn't really watch us "all" year long. The boys really enjoyed Christmas this year and had a great time opening presents and hanging out at Nana's house. We even enjoyed a white Christmas this year. I think it was our first ever!!! Amazing!

I must say we were extremely blessed this year. We thank God for our health, our lives, our home, our family, and our friends.

Now on to the goods....the pictures.

Casey wasn't too sure about Santa. Can you really blame him?

We went to see ICE thanks to the best sister a girl could have!! She took us as a surprise.

Here's the gang of us enjoying the frigid 19 degrees...well Casey didn't enjoy it so much.

Proof of our white Christmas

Seeing what Santa brought....Casey had to watch Bryant to learn the ropes.

Oh the brotherly love doesn't stop even on Christmas :)

Dayden's first Christmas. He didn't know what to think about all the fun.
About to dig in to our "Happy Birthday Jesus" cake...YUMMY!

Christmas pageant

Bryant had his Christmas pageant at Parent's Day Out yesterday. He was one of the three Wisemen and did such a great job. If you haven't watch a grand performance by 3 and 4 year olds recently, I highly recommend you find one to watch. (I tried to upload one so you could have the great experience but it wouldn't work :( It is such a joy and can bring a big smile to your face.

Randomness

Here are some random updates from my family to yours :O

Chad is completing his radiation this week!!! WooHoo!! He's done great and all has been well. He'll be super happy to not have to drive to Dallas everyday at lunch. He'll continue to have check-ups to see if it all worked so we just continue to pray the tumor does not grow any more.

I went to the eye doctor last week and kept joking that they better not find anything wrong with my eyes. Well, lo and behold, they did. I have a small hole in my retina. The doctor said it is not doing anything right now but wants to keep and eye on it. I will go back in 4 months to check how all of that is going. We pray that it heals and nothing comes of this.

Bryant and Casey had strep last week. Not fun times at all around the Sands' house then. It really did a number on Bryant and the poor boy was pretty sick for a couple of days. On Monday, Casey ran fever and had an ear infection. Sweet baby Dayden has stayed clear of these illnesses but the poor thing has a yucky cold, which we are hoping is coming to an end. It's been a glorious week of the yucks around here. Oh how I love winter time :)

Dayden turned 2 months old recently and has grown quite a bit. He weighed in at 13lbs 2oz. That's a whopping 4lbs more than his birth weight. He is such a sweet little boy who loves to smile and "talk". He likes to try to sit up while you're holding him. He's ready to be a big boy and play with his brothers. Thankfully his brothers still love him...for now!!

That's the Sands' wrap up of the past week or so. It's been busy, entertaining, fun, and sometimes not so fun, but it's been great :)

Thanksgiving

We had a great Thanksgiving in Breckenridge. We got to see and visit with a lot of family. We showed off Dayden and Bryant and Casey just showed off :)

Ashley, Chad, and I completed the first "annual" AAC Turkey Trot!!!

Dayden's first Thanksgiving and as you can see he is "thankful for mommy"!
