Memories

I was looking through some old pictures on the computer today to actually find the pictures of me doing "Thriller", but instead found some fabulous photos of "baby" Bryant along with a great video I must share. Oh how time flies. That old saying of cherishing every moment because they fly by sure is true!!!

And he stands alone :)

Casey has been doing little bouts of standing on his own off and on since his birthday but only for a few seconds at a time. Well yesterday he really outdid himself. He stood for a long time...a good 30 seconds or more. Here are pics to prove it.
Almost there....

There!!! :)

Today he's even starting pushing himself to stand and standing all alone several times. He loves it!
And not on the subject of standing alone, here are some pics of us with the boys on Father's Day (which was also Chad's bday).

Follow, Worship, Live Through Him

Bryant and I made it through our first VBS this week. He had so much fun! He cried the first couple of nights but after that just went and sat down, ready to go. I worked in the craft room so I got to see him in the middle every night. He learned songs, did crafts, ate yummy snacks, played in bounce houses, learned about God and Jesus, and learned the motto "Follow, Worship, Live Through Him"! I was so proud of him.

During this week, Casey got to have some Daddy time. Chad would get home from work and off Bryant and I would go. Casey and Daddy enjoyed their time together. It was a little rough at bedtime for Casey for a couple of days (since I normally put him down), but they got through that and had a great week.

Tonight we all got to go to family night at VBS and hear what the kids have been doing and play in bounce houses outside. We also learned that the kids gave more than $1,000 to go towards missions!! How exciting. Bryant was always so excited to get money to give every night. After family night, we wrapped it up with some good ole yummy ice cream. We couldn't have asked for a better week.

I'll update with pics later when I'm not so exhausted (yes, these late nights and this week wore me out :)!!

Kick off to summer fun

We kicked off our summer time fun with a trip to Alabama for Chad's 15 year HS reunion over Memorial Day weekend. The boys had a good time playing outside even though it rained most of the time.

Since we weren't home for the holiday weekend to have "real" (you know water, hot dogs, watermelon, etc) summer time fun, we celebrated the next weekend with all the above mentioned.

The last day with the extra kiddos (daycare kids) we made homemade ice cream! YUMMY!

This past weekend we went swimming with Ashley and Holly. It was Casey's 1st time in a real pool. They had so much fun!

Bryant had a Mother's Day tea at his school. It was so nice. All the little kiddos were so cute and sweet and sang sweet little songs for all the Mommas.

Friday-Sunday, May 8-10

We had a good busy weekend. Chad kept the boys Friday night so Ashley, Mom, and I could go out to eat and have a slumber party at Ashley's house. It was fun!!! Saturday we met the boys out for yummy breakfast, we went to the Farmer's Market, and Ashley and Mom kept the boys while Chad and I went to dinner. Sunday we just hung out. It was a very nice Mother's Day/Birthday weekend!

I braved the Dallas Zoo with all 4 kiddos!! We met up with a playgroup I recently joined and had a great time. We rode the monorail and saw lots of neat animals, the kids splashed in the wading river, and we just had a good ole time! Friday night, I took Bryant to an outside drive up movie at our church where we ate nachos, popcorn, candy bars, and drank cokes!! What a day!

Breckenridge fun...

The last weekend in April, we went to Breckenridge for a nice little visit. The kiddos had lots of fun as you can see. Casey had a great time pushing around the tricycle and Bryant got to jump in a little bounce house. They even got to feed baby goats! Everyone had a good time and enjoyed their weekend.

Oh and a couple days before we left for Breckenridge, Casey waved and said "ByeBye" for the first time. He's getting much better at doing it but it's not always at the right time :)

There really IS a Thing 3!!

Not that I haven't had 3 sonograms already to tell me so, but last night as I lied in bed I felt Thing 3 moving. I'd been thinking I've felt something for a couple of weeks now but not too sure. Well last night not only did I feel Thing 3 move in my tummy, we could feel it on the outside too. That's right, Chad even felt the little Thing moving. It was great! One week from today we will go have another sono to see Thing 3 and find out what our little surprise is! I'll keep ya updated.
